Bring your own AI to ERP without skipping human review

Check provider consent, shared context and review boundaries before using AI assistance with business records.

Know what is being shared

An assistant connected to an external provider may send selected context outside the workspace. Read the consent information and the provider’s terms before enabling it. Provider credentials are not evidence of a particular privacy guarantee or regulatory approval. Keep secrets out of prompts and support messages.

Start with a bounded task

Use assistance to understand or prepare a limited piece of work, then compare its output with the original record. Check names, dates, amounts and assumptions. Fluent wording is not evidence that the answer is correct, and a flagged anomaly is a reason to investigate rather than proof of wrongdoing.

Keep financial decisions reviewable

Do not treat generated suggestions as permission to pay, post, reconcile or approve. Use the normal ERP action, the appropriate role and the source evidence for the decision. If a suggestion conflicts with the record, stop and investigate rather than changing the record to match the suggestion.

Confirm the available feature

TerminalERP’s BYOAI page explains the current provider-choice and consent boundary. Verify the exact assistant task you intend to use. Connecting a provider does not create automatic forecasting, unlimited workflow execution or a substitute for an accountable reviewer.
