Connect the company’s OpenAI API account

An authorised administrator manages the workspace AI connection.

Before you start

You need the appropriate settings access and a provider API account. A consumer chat subscription does not necessarily include API usage.

Follow these steps

  1. Obtain the API credential from the provider account.
  2. Open the authorised workspace AI settings.
  3. Save the company connection and review the available consent.
  4. Try a supported low-risk task with suitable data.
  5. Review its result and provider-account usage.

Check the result

The company workspace can use supported AI tasks within the user’s permissions. This is a company connection, not a separate key for each employee.

If you get stuck

Check the configured provider, API credential, account availability and task requirements. Provider selection follows workspace configuration, not a per-message model picker.

One thing to remember

Provider support varies by task. DeepSeek and Groq are text-only for the receipt-image workflow. Recorded usage and cooldown controls are not a verified provider bill or a guaranteed hard spending cap.

Keep going

Still stuck?

Before contacting support:

  1. Confirm the workspace, record number, date range and status.
  2. Check your role permissions and the source document.
  3. Refresh once and search for the record before repeating a submission.
  4. Check the relevant guide for the next action; do not force a match, posting or approval.

If you still need help, include the page address, exact message, time, expected result and checks already completed. Never send passwords, API keys, payment-card details or provider secrets.
