Understand what accompanies an AI request

Review consent, task inputs and the provider connection before using AI assistance.

Before you start

Identify the company’s configured provider and review its terms together with your business’s data-sharing requirements.

Company AI connection

Useful assistance with a deliberate review.

  1. Consent and user task
  2. Bounded authorised retrieval
  3. Configured external provider
  4. Response / proposed action
  5. Human review
  6. Cancel or edit
  7. Confirm supported action
  8. Inspect result

Follow these steps

  1. Review the available AI data-sharing consent before use.
  2. Check the task, prompt and any supported upload.
  3. Use only information appropriate for that task and provider.
  4. Review the returned information against the source records.
  5. Use the available consent-withdrawal controls when needed.

Check the result

The general assistant retrieves a limited set of authorised records when needed instead of sending the whole customer or product catalog at the start. General employee lookup excludes salary.

If you get stuck

Ask an authorised administrator about the company connection and available controls. Check access and consent messages before retrying.

One thing to remember

Relevant records, prompts and uploads may be sent to the provider. Information you type, upload or use in a specialised action can still be sensitive; the general-lookup limit is not a promise that no confidential information can ever be shared.

Keep going

Still need a hand?

Tell us what you tried, what you expected and what happened. Keep passwords, API keys and private customer information out of your message.

Open a support ticket. Visitors without a workspace can contact us.

Still stuck?

Before contacting support:

  1. Confirm the workspace, record number, date range and status.
  2. Check your role permissions and the source document.
  3. Refresh once and search for the record before repeating a submission.
  4. Check the relevant guide for the next action; do not force a match, posting or approval.

If you still need help, include the page address, exact message, time, expected result and checks already completed. Never send passwords, API keys, payment-card details or provider secrets.
