Before you start
Use an account allowed to manage Workspace Settings. Have the name and percentage confirmed for the transaction by the person responsible for your tax setup.
Follow these steps
- Open Workspace Settings and select the tax section.
- Enter a meaningful rate name and the percentage in the new-rate form.
- Save the rate and check the tax-rate list.
- Use the default action only if this should be the workspace default.
- Open the next invoice or quotation and deliberately verify the selected rate before saving.
Check the result
The configured rate appears in the workspace list and relevant document selectors. Existing documents must be checked individually; do not assume a new default changes historical transactions.
If you get stuck
If the selector is empty, check the workspace, settings access and whether a rate was actually saved. If a country change fills a different default percentage, review it rather than accepting it automatically.
One thing to remember
Zero, exempt and out-of-scope transactions can have different requirements. A percentage alone does not establish compliant treatment. Keep source documentation and obtain local advice where needed.

Still stuck?
Before contacting support:
- Confirm the workspace, record number, date range and status.
- Check your role permissions and the source document.
- Refresh once and search for the record before repeating a submission.
- Check the relevant guide for the next action; do not force a match, posting or approval.
If you still need help, include the page address, exact message, time, expected result and checks already completed. Never send passwords, API keys, payment-card details or provider secrets.
