Find remaining stock with an approaching expiry date

Use expiry attention to focus on dated batches that still have quantity remaining. The list depends on the batch dates recorded in the system.

Before you start

You need inventory access and products with batch expiry data. Missing dates cannot produce a reliable expiry warning.

Follow these steps

  1. Open the product list and use the expiry attention filter.
  2. Review items with positive-quantity batches expiring from today through the next 30 days.
  3. Use the expired option separately for dates before today.
  4. Open the relevant inventory/batch information and compare dates with the physical item.
  5. Follow your business process for handling the affected stock.

Dated stock and allocation

Review expiry and trace the stock you allocate.

  1. Batch with positive stock
  2. Review date
  3. Near-expiry view
  4. Expired view
  5. Available non-expired stock
  6. Supported allocation
  7. Retained allocation history
  8. Physical check

Check the result

The list identifies products with qualifying remaining batches. It does not imply that every unit of the product shares the displayed earliest date.

If you get stuck

If an expected item is absent, check whether its batch quantity is positive and whether the date was recorded correctly. A product name alone is not enough for expiry tracking.

One thing to remember

The flag does not certify safety or suitability for sale, quarantine goods or replace sector-specific handling requirements. Use the physical label and your approved operating process.
